The problem
A useful assistant needs more than a chat box. It must reconcile information across accounts, preserve ownership boundaries, and make consequential actions reviewable.
Engineering decisions
- Connected Gmail, Google Calendar, Canvas, and subscription records to daily priorities and conversational retrieval.
- Implemented OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini gateway adapters with qualification, sensitivity rules, account isolation, and token/cost budgets.
- Built a Manifest V3 Chrome extension and a voice interface with persistent conversations and multi-intent planning.
- Used Temporal for durable workflows, approval-gated actions, audit trails, and provider verification.
What the evidence shows
A deployed personal assistant backed by documented API, web, and extension checks. Provider adapters and runtime qualification are separate: an available adapter is not permission to route every task to it.
